What a week !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello everyone!
Training in Gaffney is going so splendidly. We have seen so many miracles since we took over the area. We went on exchanges this week and Sister Johanson came to Gaffney. We had such a  good exchange. I love my STLs. We got new investigators and had so many lessons. The highlight was Saturday when we received two phone calls from people who we met earlier declined our offer to learn more. They called us and one wants to learn more and the other wants us to help her organize and plant flowers. We just had such a fun week! The Lord truly is preparing this area.
So on the spiritual note... The Book of Mormon is true. I love the pink sticky note because the Book of Mormon connects with the Bible. It shows that Jesus is the Christ and that His gospel is true. The Book of Mormon does NOT add to the truth already in the bible but compliments it and gives us His gospel in full. I know that as one takes the time to read the Book of Mormon and pray about it, they will come to know the power that can flow into their life from it. They will also come to know how much it truly adds to their faith in our Savior.
Watch this video because Elder Holland can say it better than me. Also here is the talk the video is from. He lays the law down. It is one of my favorite talks ever. And I add my testimony of the Book of Mormon. It is true.
I love you all and hope all is going well. Know that Father in Heaven loves you so much and is so aware of everything you are going through.

What!!!!!!!!!

Hello!
This week was insane as always! Every investigator that the other sisters were teaching fell off the face of the planet. Natural. So we are building up our teaching pool. We met this lady named Sherri this week who was so excited to see us. She saw our name tags and grabbed our hands and pulled us in her home. I couldn't tell if I should be worried or excited that we got into a home so fast. Very pleasant lady and she invited us back this week!
Also we went to see a less active and he has a sheep farm. He went on to tell us we could put them and feed them. We were so excited! And then after it dawned on us... "Feed my sheep" Guys, we LITERALLY fed His sheep. It was hilarious. The greatest thing about this week was Stake Conference. We went to Greenville and Elder Dube of the Seventy was there. His remarks were so great! The Spirit was so strong. With that being said, we also learned at this meeting from our mission president that they are closing the Elders area and we are taking over all of Gaffney. For reals!? The whole thing is huge! This week I was constantly reminded of patience. Patience stuck out to me for everything. We all need to learn patience and this girl needs a lot of it.
This week was really quick and really short. I hope all is well. My invitation to all is to go watch this video. Really a single step makes all the difference.
I know this church is true. The is the restored church of Jesus Christ. He is our eternal head. The Book of Mormon is His word. I know my Savior lives!

Welcome to Gaffney...................... :)

Well super cool week! And emotional but.. you know. Okay so last Monday while still in Hopkins, we went geocaching. Its like a treasure hunt. Way fun! And then a member took Sister Simpson's and I pictures. Way fun! I just love Hopkins.
And now I miss Hopkins. But my new area is Gaffney. Its in the upstate. We have "mountains" according to members but really for me they are little ant hills. The weather is a little more chilly then Columbia. But it is SO beautiful. I am going to love it here.
So really this email is super short because our whole week was getting to meet members. But then I also got to skype my family. That was the best! Oh I love my parents. So really I want you to know that I know this gospel is true. I know my Savior lives. We have a prophet on the earth today.
Whitewashing is fun! So here are several photos of the week!

Day at the park, working, relaxing...............

"We are like peas and carrots, Sister Simpson and me"

This might just be one of the most depressing emails ever so fair warning. Sister Simpson and I have literally cried every day since Friday. I am getting transferred and I am whitewash training. Meaning, I am going to an area that will be new to both myself and my trainee. With that being said, I never thought my heart would be so shattered at leaving Hopkins and more so Sister Simpson. We are two peas in a pod. Im excited to have new adventures and touch the lives of more people. BUT we ALL know how bad I am about saying goodbyes. I just cant do it. With that being said, Sister Simpson and I have started building Noahs ark because by the time Wednesday rolls around, there is gonna be a flood... of tears! It also rips your heart when the kids run to you and say "Don't go."
That is the highlight of the week.
In other news, we did service this week and we cut bamboo trees. I love hard labor. It was candy for me. We lifted and pulled and it was great!
The coolest thing I have to say about Sister Simpson and our companionship is this. At the beginning of our companionship in November we wanted to exercise Faith as a Power. I prayed about a number of people to baptize before she got to Hopkins. When she came, she prayed and we both felt inspired for 3. We achieved that with Amy, Jeremiah and Alex. It was the best blessing.
I want to bear testimony of our Savior Jesus Christ. I was told this week that Mormons do not believe in the same Christ that the rest of the world does. Let me be very clear that the Jesus Christ we believe in, is the same. He was born to Mary, He suffered and died for every one of our sins, afflictions and troubles. He was resurrected and rose on the third day. Jesus is the Christ, the only begotten of the Father. And it is ONLY through Him can we enter back into our Fathers presence. I know my Savior Lives.
Go see and what we truly believe. If you have doubts, go to someone who actually practices the religion. Read about what we believe.

P.S. I love Sister Simpson. UGH!
